![]() It is a narrative game first and foremost. If people like spending time in the game enough to play it again, I could imagine dedicating more time and energy to poking into all the corners.Īll that said, this isn't The Elder Scrolls or Dragon Age. ![]() Generally speaking, I suspect people's first playthroughs will be somewhat non-intentional. ![]() I think it would be hard to find "everything" unless you have explored the world pretty thoroughly and know your way around the map. Most of the people I've seen play through the entire game have found different instances of these things. There are also locations and things to find in the world that are not required by or even related to the main story of the story. That's one of the big things that will differentiate multiple playthroughs. I learned a ton about their design choices and found a number of new things to find and to try as a result, and I found it to be a better experience than even the initial play through, despite the frustrations I've outlined.Chrisremo a écrit :There is far more dialogue in the game than you could ever see in a single playthough, and much of that different dialogue is mutually exclusive, which means if you say one thing rather than another thing, it will affect what happens next, and you can't go back and "change what you said". The numbering that's there currently makes no sense.Īll complaints aside, however, the number and quality of the commentary tapes is awesome. I agree with the numbering as well though that's a hard problem since so many of them are reused throughout the course of the story. Hopefully, they'll patch it to make certain logs harder to miss. ![]() I found that turning off autosaves, making a manual save each day, and turning on Subtitles, was the best way to go through the Audio Tour, though far from perfect. Thankfully, the audio tapes play through day transitions and lower the volume of other conversations, so as long as you click them, you can get the whole log. He did agree that some of the shorter days should perhaps have some cues to guide you to the tapes in time to not miss them. I did tweet at Jake and Sean and got a reply back from Jake that due to the way the game is structured, they couldn't easily let you skip around to chapters out of order. There's one late in the game where it mentions ignoring an area, and I wanted to do so, but there are two audio logs there! So I decided to just go ahead and get them, rather than to try the uncommon path. Many of the audio logs let you in on secrets regarding unconventional ways to play the game, which are then not possible to actually execute within the Audio Tour without skipping Audio Tour stops. It was only because of some of the later tapes that I found this out. Day 37 (I think) is also easy to miss as it's not a day that most people who play see anyway. I did end up finishing it yesterday, with Day 9 the only missed tape.
